LPG Components

IMPCO Technologies offer an extensive range of leading edge LPG components for installation in Australian vehicles and machinery using top quality products manufactured by IMPCO and BRC.
We cater for a vast range of vehicles on Australia's roads, whether old or new. We provide various levels of LPG components for vehicles - IMPCO and BRC traditional single point fueling systems for older cars, and BRC's advanced common-rail sequential injection systems for late model vehicles. The type of LPG system that is installed in your car is generally determined by the age and technology of your vehicle. However, IMPCO can tailor a system to meet your individual performance and budget requirements.
As a general rule of thumb, cars that were manufactured before 2003 have single point assemblies, and cars that were manufactured after 2003 are given sequential injection assemblies.
There are, however, many different exceptions that can be made. If you would like to know which system can be placed on your vehicle, visit the "Our LPG Systems" page on our website, or contact us or your nearest installer.
Sequential Fuel Injection Systems
The BRC Sequential Fuel Injection System is a state-of-the-art technology, which allows seamless integration into the existing petrol system on your vehicle. Thanks to IMPCO's and BRC's extensive Research and Development capabilities, you will find that there is no notable difference between performance on petrol and LPG. BRC's 'Smart Switch' automatically controls the selection of either LPG or petrol, all you need to do is turn the key. Our Sequential Fuel Injection Systems are simply convenient!
The components used in our LPG systems are designed and built specifically for use with gaseous fuels, and have demonstrated superior durability and reliability.
Injectors
BRC's fuel injectors employ innovative designs, delivering precise, fast and accurate fuel metering. These components have been validated to meet with automotive-specific durability requirements for both the original equipment manufacturers and after-market specifications.

BRC injectors are manufactured on a high volume state-of-the-art robotic production line, delivering the highest possible quality and accuracy. The robotic production line provides a zero-tolerance process, eliminating components which do not conform to our stringent quality requirements. We employ these extreme measures during the manufacturing process to ensure our customers only receive the highest possible quality products.
If the injector does not perform to its highest abilities during the testing stages, it is scrapped. This ensures that all IMPCO BRC customers who have a Sequential Fuel Injection System are given the best quality possible, 100% of the time.
Injector Rails
Our Injector Rails are made to a very high standard, employing specific alloys intented for harsh environments. These form a common-rail, locating our fuel injectors near the individual cylinder intake runners. Just like the petrol fuel management system used in late-model vehicles, our common-rail system is a non-return system.

ECU (Electronic Control Unit)
The ECU or Electronic Control Unit utilises our in-house know-how to deliver our proprietry bi-fuel technology. This powerful ECU employs integration techniques, and enables the normalisation of the LPG system to the original equipment petrol system, providing seamless transition, operation and performance on either LPG or petrol. All of the vehicle's accessory systems (such as traction control, active suspension, diagnostics, etc) are fully maintained.
The ECU is manufactured to our high standards for production, utilising the latest techniques and quality processes for electronic components.
Our ECU has been validated to meet with both original equipment and after-market automotive requirements. The ECU is available for 4, 6 and 8 cylinder configurations, and has a number of software options available, including petrol usage limitation for fleets. (For 10 cylinder applications, please contact us).
