Starting out in 1978, the GM Holden Commodore has been a huge hit in Australia. Due to the Commodore's size, and the smallest engine being a V6, Australians have been turning to LPG to cut their fuel bill and reduce their CO2 for many years.

Because of the Commodore's popularity within Australia, IMPCO have managed to design state-of-the-art LPG systems to suit any model Commodore, whether it be a Sedan, Wagon or Utility. Our LPG systems are designed to meet with the tough conditions that Australia gives. 

All model Commodores can have LPG installed on them, however certain models must have certain LPG systems depending on which motor the Commodore has. There are many different systems that can be placed on Commodores, however, as a general rule of thumb, Air Valve or Mixer Systems suit early Commodores, from VB up to VT Series 1 (1978 - 1997). From VT Series 2 onwards, Injection Systems can be installed. From VZ (Alloytec V6), the LPG systems must be Injected.

Holden Commodore VT - VX (1997 - 2002) Includes WH Statesmans & Caprices, and VU Utility.


No brochures exist on this car at this point in time. However, VT and VX Sedans run great on LPG, and hundreds have been converted by IMPCO's installers. Contact us, or one of our Installers, for more information on VT and VX Commodores.
 

Holden Commodore VS (1995 - 1997) Includes VS Statesmans & Caprices, Utility models manufactured until 2000.


No brochures exist on this car at this point in time. VS Commodores are very similar to VT and VX Commodores mechanically. Hundreds have been converted by IMPCO's installers, so if you would like more information, give one of them (or us) a call!
 

Holden Commodore VR (1993 - 1995)

No brochures exist on this car at this point in time. VR Commodores are quite common and many have been put on LPG. Give us (or one of our installers) a call to find out more about an IMPCO system on your VR Commodore.
 

Holden Commodore VN - VP (1988 - 1993) Includes VQ Statesmans & Caprices, and VG Utility.


No brochures exist on this car at this point in time. VN - VP Commodores are suited to Air-Valve LPG systems. Custom performance installations on 5L V8's are also an option. Give us a ring (or one of our installers) for some information regarding your VN or VP Commodore.
 

Holden Commodore VL (1986 - 1988)


No brochures exist on this car at this point in time. VL Commodores can be placed on LPG, however VL Turbo cars are not suitable. Call us or your nearest installer for more information regarding your VL Commodore.
 

Holden Commodore VB - VK (1978 - 1986) 


No brochures exist on this car at this point in time. LPG systems are commonly found on the early generation Commodores. The LPG systems placed on VB - VK are air-valve due to the motor being a carburettor motor. Call IMPCO or your nearest installer for more information on early generation Commodores.
