Ford Falcon BA (Sept 2002 - Oct 2005)

The BA Falcon was a design tweak from the AU Falcon platform. The BA introduced all new styling, interiors, drivetrain and the Barra 4L straight 6 engines. BA's were first introduced to the public in September 2002, and ran until October 2005, where the BF Falcon (visually the same, but new mechanics) took over.
BA and BF Falcons run great on LPG (most taxi's are LPG BA or BF and do close to a million kilometres in their lifetime), which makes moving to LPG on your BA or BF a smart decision. Because of the design of the BA Barra engines, IMPCO can supply you with either a Sequential Injection or Air-Valve LPG kit for your BA. Each kits have their advantages on this model Falcon.
To spot a BA Falcon: BA and BF Falcons are very similar cosmetically (most changes between BA and BF were mechanical). BA Falcons have tail lights which are slightly fogged out, making it difficult to see the bulb and reflectors. This differs to the BF tail lights (see BF Falcon for a comparison). Base model BA Falcons have a completely blacked out lower grille on the front bumper bar (BF Falcons have colour coded sections of grille).
The BA XR models have circular-styled head lights, and foglights in the front bumper (see photo). The best way to tell the difference between the two is to find the build-date of the car, which can be found on your registration sticker, or under the bonnet on the compliance plate. LPG Kits for BA Falcon
IMPCO offer both a traditional Air-Valve Central-Point Fuelling system and a Sequential Fuel Injection system for installation on BA Falcons. Each system works differently, and should be chosen on your needs. Please give us a call and ask which would be better suited, or contact your nearest installer for more information.
